International conference on "Gen. Soleimani and New Islamic Civilization" to be held in Iran

Iran has scheduled to hold international conference on "General Soleimani and New Islamic Civilization" to mark the endeavors of major counter-terrorism commander of Iran's IRGC Quds Force who was assassinated in US drone attack in January 2020.

AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Iran has scheduled to hold international conference on "General Soleimani and New Islamic Civilization" to mark the endeavors of major counter-terrorism commander of Iran's IRGC Quds Force who was assassinated in US drone attack in January 2020.

The secretariat of the international conference on General Soleimani which is scheduled to be held in January- February 2021 has called for the papers on the topics surrounding the endeavors of top commander, resistance movement.
 
The international event on "General Soleimani and New Islamic Civilization" will discuss the different aspects of personal life, endeavors and regional and global achievements of the top commander in five major sections.
 
The topics for the upcoming conference include: Intellectual- religious dimentions and the traits of Martyr Soleimani, The role of Martyr Soleimani in the culture and discourse of resistance, Martyr Soleimani, regional and global order.
 
Also the ideal society of the Novel Islamic civilization reflected on the desirable image of Martyr Soleimani, the role of Martyr Soleimani in the establishment of security and justice and peace in the region and in the world are among the other topics to be discussed in the international conference.
 
The event will be sponsored by a number of organizations, universities and institutes in Iran among them World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought, Islamic Azad University, state television and the University of Islamic Denominations.
 
Two major counter-terrorism figures, General Qassem Soleimani, commander of Iran's IRGC Quds Force and Abu Mahdi Muhandes, deputy of Iraq's Popular Mobilization Committee together with their companions were martyred in a US drone attack targeting their convoy near Baghdad International Airport in early January 2020.
