AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): The al-Nujaba Islamic Resistance movement held a conference to continue supporting the commanders and groups of the Islamic Resistance and pledged to take revenge for the blood of the Martyrs Haj Qasem Soleimani and Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis.
According to the Communication and Media Affairs Centre of al-Nujaba in Iran, a great conference was held by the al-Nujaba Islamic Resistance movement entitled “‘Ala Khutakum: On Your Path” was held on January 2, 2021, on the occasion of the first anniversary of the martyrdom of General Haj Qasem Soleimani and Haj Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis in Baghdad.
The conference was attended by representatives of the Islamic Resistance groups, commanders of the Popular Mobilization Forces and the families of the martyrs. Shaykh Khalid al-Mulla, the chairman of the Association of Muslim Scholars of Iraq, and Hujjat al-Islam Ali al-Asadi, the chairman of the Political Council of al-Nujaba, spoke at the conference.
al-Mulla: The survival of Iraq depends on the continued struggle of the Islamic Resistance groups
The chairman of the Association of Muslim Scholars of Iraq said at the conference, “We have gathered today to honour the memory of our martyrs. The martyrs who were martyred on the path of the greatest battle – the fight against Takfiri terrorism.”
Shaykh Khalid al-Mulla referred to the importance of the United States’ assassination of Haj Qasem Soleimani and Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis and emphasized, “The United States’ targeting of the commanders of victory over Daesh was due to the fact that these two martyrs defeated the project to divide Iraq – namely Daesh – which was an American tool.”
He added, “The United States had become aware that these two commanders were resolving some regional problems that, if resolved, would have no place in our region.”
This Sunni scholar described the “unity of the word” in the light of the current situation in Iraq as very important and stated, “Our unity prevents foreign aggression and the loyalty of the Iraqi people to the blood of the martyrs Soleimani and Abu Mahdi depends on the support and protection of Iraqi security organizations, especially the Popular Mobilization Forces.”
Shaykh al-Mulla noted that many parties are seeking to target the Popular Mobilization Forces. Therefore, some individuals must not be allowed to stab the Iraqi Islamic Resistance from behind because the survival of Iraq depends on the continued struggle of the Islamic Resistance groups in this country.”
al-Asadi: The al-Nujaba movement is committed to taking revenge for the blood of Martyrs Soleimani and Abu Mahdi
Addressing the martyred commanders, the chairman of the Political Council of al-Nujaba stated that “the fragrance of your steps is still wafting among us and we still hear the echoes of your voice” and added, “Your light is the illumination of the path of jihad and guidance.”
Hujjat al-Islam Ali al-Asadi added, “These two martyrs influenced their enemies before their friends. They were not just two commanders but rather, they were two warriors, two soldiers, and two symbols who, on the one hand, frightened their enemies and, on the other hand, pleased their friends.”
He noted, “The Martyrs Soleimani and Abu Mahdi worked together in hiding and in secret, in darkness and light, and in comfort and hardship, and it was God’s destiny that they would eventually achieve martyrdom together.”
The senior Iraqi Islamic Resistance official described the world without Haj Qasem and the Abu Mahdi as different from before their martyrdom, saying, “History will write new pages for the future about how the Islamic Resistance reached the highest peak by two of history’s greatest commanders. The morning call to prayer will testify that they performed ablutions with their own blood and the ‘Great Satan’ armed its forces to eliminate them.”
Hujjat al-Islam al-Asadi stressed that “revenge for the deaths of the Islamic Resistance commanders has not been taken yet” and added, “The blood of these two martyrs is still flowing on the ground of the airport.”
Referring to the legal measures to prosecute the perpetrators of this crime, he clarified, “We call on the Iraqi government to fulfill its duty to reveal the details of this crime, and we, as an Islamic Resistance group, emphasize that the al-Nujaba movement is committed to taking revenge for the blood of these two martyrs through all legal and legitimate measures.”
In conclusion, the chairman of the Political Council of al-Nujaba stated, “Our revenge will not be revenge on the person and is not limited to a specific time and place. Our revenge is a continuation of the path that has been taken so far and is a prelude to what will happen in the future. This revenge is the fulfillment of God’s promise.”
