Arab Scholars: General Soleimani a trans-religious, trans- Faith and trans-geographical model

On the occasion of the first anniversary of the martyrdom of General Haj Qasem Soleimani and Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, the Iranian Cultural Attaché in Lebanon, in cooperation with the Lebanese Center for Studies, Consulting and Documentation, held a meeting and a webinar at the Imam Khomeini Cultural Center.

AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): On the occasion of the first anniversary of the martyrdom of General Haj Qasem Soleimani and Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, the Iranian Cultural Attaché in Lebanon, in cooperation with the Lebanese Center for Studies, Consulting and Documentation, held a meeting and a webinar at the Imam Khomeini Cultural Center.

According to the Public Relations Department of the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization (ICRO) on the occasion of the first anniversary of the martyrdom of General Haj Qasem Soleimani and Abu Mahdi Al-Muhandis, the Iranian Cultural Attaché in Lebanon in cooperation with the Lebanese Center for Studies, Consulting and Documentation And different scholars and cultural figures from various countries including  Palestine, Lebanon, Syria, Yemen, Iraq, Iran and the United States simultaneously in a webinar and in person meeting titled "Characteristics of the strategic model from the point of view of Martyr Soleimani, from resistance to the occupiers to limiting hegemony" was held at Imam Khomeini (RA)Cultural Center.

In this meeting, first a video clip was broadcast on this occasion and then the Iranian Cultural Attaché, Dr. Abbas Khamehyar, in his speech, while renewing his allegiance with the path and manner of General Soleimani, examined the dimensions of his personality.

Khamehyar said: "General Soleimani was the most important figure who challenged the US-Israeli plan in the Middle East and the region, and this was the characteristic of his strategic thought that by creating a resistance system in the region, that stopped the wheel of the Sykes-Picot II and Balfour II agreements and tilted the balance of power against the Zionists who want to create division in the region.

He added: Haj Qasem was a strategic thinker and smart designer in the region. His military school has been a model for decades, and many military experts believe that his military school should be taught in universities and cadet colleges. Iranian Cultural Attaché described General Soleimani as the flag bearer of jihadi diplomacy and said this type of diplomacy, which was also designed by him, simultaneously with the resistance and jihad in the field, intelligently pursued settlement of political issues and was an example in Iraqi Kurdistan.

He added that Haj Qasem Soleimani was not ignorant of reading books and even on the battlefield he read books and collection of poems, and one of such collection was with him when he was martyred. So far, about five hundred to six hundred books on the issues of the region have been written and published under the supervision of General Soleimani.

Khamehyar continued to introduce the personality and human and moral dimensions of this great commander and said he became acquainted with the culture of the divine and the righteous figures from his childhood and made the morals of the outstanding personalities his role model. He was the one that roared against colonialism and arrogance and could not stand the tears of orphaned children or the afflicted people and cried for their miseries. He lived a simple life and set an example for others. Another characteristic of him was that he was kind to his own people and harsh to his enemies.

 Khamehyar also referred to General Soleimani"s view of world liberation movements and said it was a school of rationality, faith, sincerity and courage and was beyond all political tendencies and various internal and external tendencies. He was loved by all followers of sects and religions, from Yazidis, Sunnis and Shiites to Christians, and other denominations. The top Iranian cultural envoy to Lebanon pointed to General Soleimani"s fascination with martyrdom in the last four decades and said we could see the love of martyrdom in his eyes. Trust in God along with sincerity in action was another of the most prominent human qualities of this great martyr. Khamehyar concluded his speech by saying that martyr Soleimani lived by martyrdom and his constant whisper was martyrdom and he always said to the lovers of martyrdom those who do not live by martyrdom, will never die by martyrdom. Therefore, one must first be a martyr from within in order to attain the grace of martyrdom.
