Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had his first phone call with King Mohammed VI of Morocco since the signing of the agreement on normalizing relations between the two countries, Israeli occupation media reported.

AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had his first phone call with King Mohammed VI of Morocco since the signing of the agreement on normalizing relations between the two countries, Israeli occupation media reported.

The Israeli newspaper Yediot Aharonot reported that Netanyahu invited King Mohammed VI to visit Israel, noting that the two sides exchanged congratulations on the resumption of diplomatic relations and the signing of a joint declaration with the United States and bilateral agreements between Israel and Morocco.

Netanyahu and Mohammed VI have identified mechanisms for implementing the agreements, the paper added.

Netanyahu also thanked the King of Morocco for hosting the Israeli delegation headed by Meir Ben Shabbat, National Security Advisor this week.

During the visit of the Israeli delegation headed by Ben Shabbat to the Kingdom, the joint declaration on the establishment of relations between Israel and Morocco was signed.

The two diplomatic missions of the two countries are expected to open soon, as well as flights between them.

Morocco became the fourth Arab country to declare relations with Israel this year, and sixth in general to join the UAE, Bahrain, Sudan, Jordan and Egypt.
