Omsk city became Muslim capital of Russia for three days

Omsk city of Russia hosted the Fifth Reporting and Election Congress of the Centralized Religious Organization Muslim Religious Administration of the Asian Part of Russia under the leadership of Mufti Nafigulla Ashirov.

AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Omsk city of Russia hosted the Fifth Reporting and Election Congress of the Centralized Religious Organization Muslim Religious Administration of the Asian Part of Russia under the leadership of Mufti Nafigulla Ashirov. From 8 to 10 December, the heads of the religious administrations of Muslims (muftiyats) from different cities of Russia worked at the Aurora Hotel, reports “Omsk” newspaper.

Omsk gathered muftis from the Republics of Bashkiria, Tatarstan, Mordovia, Yakutia, Altai, Dagestan and the regions of the North Caucasus, as well as imams from Moscow, Tyumen, Kurgan, Magadan, Tomsk, Chelyabinsk, Astrakhan, Orenburg, Sverdlovsk, Ivanovo and Rostov regions and Stavropol Krai.

The Congress hosted the Interregional Scientific and Practical Conference “Islam Against Radicalization and for Peaceful Creation” and the presentation of the book “Translation of the meanings of the Koran into the Tatar language” by mufti of Muslim Religious Administration of Tatarstan, Kamil Samigullin.

The vent was organized by Muslim Religious Administration of the city of Omsk and the Omsk region.
