AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Its 5th year since 12th – 14th December, 2015 massacre in the city of Zaria where blood thirsty coward Nigerian Army butchered over 1000 innocent civilians, male, female, children, youths, adults and aged followers of Sheikh Zakzaky while hundreds others were set ablaze.

They had started gathering to herald the coming of the month of birth of our Noble Prophet of Islam Muhammad (SAWA) i.e. 1st Rabiul Auwal.

In Kano city, Nigeria, Saturday, December 12th, 2020 marking Zaria massacre followers of Shaikh Ibraheem Zakzaky staged a protest matching major streets denouncing the atrocities the atrocities of Buhari Regime in 2015 and the continued detention of its leader Shaikh Ibraheem Zakzaky and his wife Malama Zenatuddeed Ibraheem who are in serious deteriorating health condition and have been denied proper medication.

Earlier in December 2016 a Federal High court in Abuja led by Justice Kolawole had ordered the Government to free the leader and to pay him a compensation of 50 million for violating their right; yet Sheikh Zakzaky and wife are still languishing in prison.

The protesters passed through some major street of central Kano, along Murtala Muhamamd Hospital road, Ibrahim Taiwo road, Murtala Muhammad way and ended at WAPA roundabout Fagge.

Similar protests were staged in major cities and towns in Nigeria and abroad.
