AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): MWM asks Sunni Shia Muslims for joint Eid Miladul Nabi (Prophet Birthday) celebrations across Pakistan.

Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen of Pakistan Sindh chapter secretary general Allama Baqir Abbas Zaidi said this, while presiding over a meeting at Wahdat House.

He appealed to all Sunni and Shia Muslims to organize joint programmes, rallies, milad, sabeels to mark Eid Milad ul Nabi (PBUH).

He said enemies of Islam and Muslims want division within ranks of Muslims; hence, Muslims should demonstrate unity on Eid Miladul Nabi (PBUH).

MWM has announced week long Eid Milad ul Nabi (PBUH) celebrations under Hafta Wahdat-e-Muslimeen or Muslim Unity Week from 12th Rabiul Awwal to 17th Rabiul Awwal.

Allama Baqir said that MWM would celebrate birth anniversary of Prophet Mohammad (BUH) with enthusiasm.

On the other hand, Shia Ulema Council announced weeklong Eid Miladul Nabi celebrations under Hafta Wahdat wa Ishq-e-Mustafa (PBUH).

The SUC founder leader and veteran Shia Islamic leader Allama Sajid Naqvi made this announcement.

He announced they would celebrate birth anniversary of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) with enthusiasm and reverence.

He termed Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) centre of unity. Furthermore, he called for unity of Sunni-Shia Muslims on common points and urged them to bury differences.
