AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): In a congratulatory message to the new Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the Iran's President expressed confidence that under his wise leadership, we will see further development of friendly and brotherly relations between the two countries, as well as development of stability and security in the region.

Your Highness Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah,
Honourable Emir of the State of Kuwait,
Assalamualaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh,
I sincerely congratulate Your Highness on your position as the Emir of the friendly and brotherly nation of Kuwait.
I am confident that, as in the past, we will witness the growing expansion of friendly and fraternal relations between the two countries and the development of stability and security in the region, thanks to the continuation of the path and character of your wise leadership.
I wish Your Highness health and success, and the Muslim people of Kuwait prosperity and felicity.
