Photos: Shia Muslims in Niger Republic hold annual Muharram rally
The annual Muharram rally in mourning to the Muslim world and the Holy Prophet over the wholesale massacre of grandson of the Holy Prophet Imam Hussein (AS) and members of his family at the plane of Karbala 61 years after Hijrah held in Maradi, Niger Republic. Hundreds of brothers and sisters in Caduwa, Maradi town, staged the rally shortly after Friday congregational Prayer in Caduwa Friday congregational mosque. Lecture was delivered addressing the public on the trial and tribulations faced by the holy progeny of the Prophet. Finally, posters of Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky were raised in solidarity with Nigerians and the Sheikh over the fundamental rights violation by the Nigerian government.
