AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Some 560,000 copies of the Holy Quran were printed in Iran in the first 3 months of the current Iranian calendar year, an official said.
Meysam Moaafi, an official with the Dar-ol-Quran Karim Organization, said that in this period (March 21-June 20, 2019), the organization issued 73 permissions for printing the Quran, the report said.
This is a good figure given the closure of the Tehran International Book Fair and the International Quran Exhibition due to the coronavirus outbreak, he noted.
The Dar-ol-Quran Karim Organization is affiliated to Iran’s Islamic Development Organization.
It oversees Quranic activities and grants permissions for publication of the Quran in the country.
