On April 16, 2019 the College of Sharia and Islamic Studies in UAE organized an Islamic Conference entitled "Virtual Currencies under Evaluation". Researchers tried to clarify the concept of digital currencies from various fields of studies such as Law and Sharia.

37 selected articles of the conference have been published in a 980-page book entitled “Waqa’iʿ al-Muʾtamar al-ʿumalat al-iftiraḍiyyat fi al-mizan”.

In the present book, articles of the conference were reviewed and a brief report of each of them was presented. The authors have compiled this work in two chapters. In the first chapter, they have a statistical look at the articles of the conference. And in the second chapter, they have presented a short report of each of the articles.
