AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Iran's President stressed the importance of maintaining the reputation and status of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) for the sake of the international community and stressed, "The basis of Iran's work is cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency, but the Agency must maintain its independence and do not deviate from its legal path under the United States and the Zionist Regime’s pressures".
Speaking on Wednesday at cabinet session, Dr Hassan Rouhani said, "Iran is still ready to accept the legal monitoring of the IAEA and to cooperate with it within the framework of the law".
The president also responded to US claims and propaganda that they are ready to negotiate with Iran, saying that instead of making baseless statements for negotiation, the Americans had better return from the wrong path they have taken”.
The President added, "Opening the space for the glorious presence of women in various activities is one of the honours of the government of prudence and hope”.
He continued, "Martyrs Beheshti and Motahari were great assets that were taken from us and their replacement in our history is very difficult and complicated”.
Stating that, “We are the same government that had the highest economic growth in the world in 2018,” Dr Rouhani added, "The current problems of the society are due to the sanctions and coronavirus”.
“During the past six months, all the executive officials of the country have not had a day off, not even during bank holidays, and until the last minute and second of the government, they proudly continue to work and serve the great nation of Iran with the same spirit of the first hour,” continued the President.
He also went on to state, "I am aware of the annoying fluctuations in the price of goods, but we have the power to overcome these problems”.
The President of the Islamic Republic of Iran continued saying, "Our oil and non-oil exports in June were different from the previous three months, and the situation is gradually improving”.
He added, "Imam Khomeini's (RA) explicit fatwa was that currency belongs to the government and the price of currency is related to the government”.
“Those who are active in the non-oil export line are making a jihad, but we will not allow certain people to take advantage of non-oil exports when people are under pressure,” said Rouhani.
Dr Rouhani also said that people should know that the government is determined to control prices, adding, "The government cannot be indifferent to the price of housing and rents, and the proposals are being completed, and once they are finalised, they will help people regarding rents”.
Stating that to solve the housing problem, the solution is for everyone to participate in housing production, he continued saying, "The process of constructing housing must be accelerated”.
“The government has many facilities, and if these facilities are provided, the situation in the country will change,” continued the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Dr Rouhani also went on to stated, "According to the Minister of Health, following the efforts of Health Defenders, from next week we will see a decrease in coronavirus in red provinces such as Khuzestan, Bushehr, Hormozgan, Azerbaijan and Kurdistan”.
He added, "The basis of Iran's work is cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency, but the IAEA must maintain its independence and do not deviate from its legal path under pressure from the United States and the Zionist Regime”.
Stating that, “The Agency's reputation is very important for the international community,” President Rouhani said, "Iran is still ready to accept the Agency's legal monitoring and cooperate with it within the framework of the law”.
