Iranian, Tajik nations and governments always together

AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): In a telephone conversation on Wednesday, the Presidents of Iran and Tajikistan stressed the historical, religious and cultural common grounds between the two nations and the friendly and brotherly relations between the two governments, and stressed the need to further develop cooperation and relations.

Dr Hassan Rouhani and Emomali Rahmon congratulated each other on the arrival of Ramadan and wished the acceptance of the worship of the two nations in this month, discussing the latest state of relations and cooperation between Iran and Tajikistan in various fields.

The Presidents of Iran and Tajikistan also referred to the outbreak of coronavirus and the difficulties and problems it has created for most countries in the world, and stressed the need for efforts and interaction between officials of the two countries to develop cooperation and share experiences in combatting the disease.

The two sides also stressed the importance of the efforts of the two countries' officials to restore trade and economic relations to the previous routine with full observance of health protocols, adding, "The two nations and the two governments of Iran and Tajikistan have always been, and will be, together".

Referring to Iran's success in the production of coronavirus diagnostic kits and other equipment needed to fight coronavirus, Dr Rouhani said, "We are ready to meet the needs of Tajikistan as much as possible as a friendly and brotherly country ".

During the same phone call, President Emomali Rahmon of Tajikistan praised Iran's success in the fight against coronavirus and the government's wise management in this regard, and said, "Increasing relations and cooperation with Iran is one of the key policies of Tajikistan in foreign relations".
