AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): The number of pilgrims from Kazakhstan attending this year’s Hajj rituals will be 3,000.
This was announced during a recent visit to Saudi Arabia by a Kazakh religious delegation.
The delegation held talks with Saudi Hajj and Umrah Ministry officials on issues related to the pilgrimage, including transportation, visa, health issues and security and safety of pilgrims.
The Saudi side said the Arab country will welcome 3,000 pilgrims from the Central Asian state this year.
Hajj is a pilgrimage to Mecca that every able-bodied and financially able Muslim is obliged to undertake at least once during their lifetime.
This year’s Hajj in the holy city of Mecca, Saudi Arabia, will begin in late July.
