Houthi official praises responsible position of Iraqi parliament

Member of the Yemeni Supreme Political Council, Mohammed Ali al-Houthi, praised the position of the Iraqi parliament rejecting the violation of the sovereignty of Iraq and the American air strikes that resulted in the assassination of the commander of the Quds Force, General Qassem Soleimani, the deputy head of the Popular Mobilization Committee, its field commander Jamal Muhammad Jaafar (Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis), and 8 other members of the crowd, its members, and officers.

AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Member of the Yemeni Supreme Political Council, Mohammed Ali al-Houthi, praised the position of the Iraqi parliament rejecting the violation of the sovereignty of Iraq and the American air strikes that resulted in the assassination of the commander of the Quds Force, General Qassem Soleimani, the deputy head of the Popular Mobilization Committee, its field commander Jamal Muhammad Jaafar (Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis), and 8 other members of the crowd, its members, and officers.

Mohammed Al-Houthi said in a tweet on Twitter after midnight on Sunday: "The position of the Iraqi parliament is a responsible position, and so must the parliaments take serious position." He thanked the members of the Iraqi parliament for their stance by saying: “Thank you, Iraqi Parliament members."

He called for a responsible and swift Iranian move. He said in his tweet: “Whoever understands the priorities knows the importance of a quick and responsible move.” He added that "peace is not made by the weak, and victory does not win the trembling hands."

Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif tweeted on Saturday night, saying, "The end of the malicious presence of the United States in the region has begun." While the new commander of the Quds Force, Ismail Qani, vowed a bloody response, saying: "Be patient a little and see with your own eyes the bodies of the Americans spread in the Middle East."
