1st Australian Quran Competition to Be Held in Ramadan

The first Australian International Quranic Competition will be held in Ramadan 2014 in Sydney and Melbourne.

The competition is divided into four main categories: memorizing the whole Quran, memorizing fifteen Juz’, memorizing five Juz’ and memorizing two Juz’ (for up to fifteen year olds).

It aims to spread Quran culture in the Australia – Asia territory, unite Muslims on the Book of Allah, and encourage members of Muslim communities in the region, male or female, to concern, have interest and be emotionally attached to the Holy Quran.

Australian International Quranic Competition (AIQC) is a permanent institution working throughout the year to serve the Holy Quran and Muslims in Australia – Asia (Australasia) territory, to keep the flame of competition in Quran memorizing, reading and reciting, and to highlight its sciences to disseminate it among the public.
