IRAQ - AhlulBayt News Agency - A security source in Anbar province said on Monday, that one of the ISIS judges had been killed by a sniper fire in the area of al-Golan north of Fallujah.
The source, who requested anonymity, “A judge of what is called the ISIS legitimacy court was killed by a sniper during his presence in al-Golan area north of Fallujah,” explaining that, “The sniper was an Iraqi national.”
The source added, “ISIS transferred the body of the judge to an unknown destination,” indicating that, “A massive campaign was carried out by [ISIS] to search for the sniper.”
The commander of Anbar Operations Major General Ismail Al-Mahalawi announced on Monday, that the security forces repulsed ISIS attack on the headquarters of the army’s 76th brigade north of Ramadi.
Mahalawi said in a statement “This morning, ISIS launched an attack on the army’s 76th brigade near Zankoura area north of Ramadi.”
Mahalawi added, “A force from the headquarters guards managed to repulse the attack and killed 15 members of ISIS, while inflicted heavy material and human losses on ISIS.”
