The United Nations says the war in Yemen has left more than 500 children dead over the past six months.
Spokesman for the UN children's agency Christophe Boulierac said more than 700 children have also been injured within the same period.
He noted that some 10 million Yemeni children are in desperate need of humanitarian aid, with some one-point-seven million at risk of malnutrition.
Boulierac also warned that the situation for Yemeni children is horrific and deteriorating by the day.
According to the international body, recruiting children as fighters has increased four times since 2014, with over 600 cases verified this year.
