Ahlul Bayt News Agency - Israeli settlers intensified Friday their attacks and violations against Palestinian citizens and properties in the northern West Bank city of Nablus in the wake of yesterday’s shooting attack in which an Israeli officer and his wife were shot dead.

A group of settlers torched on Friday morning Palestinian-owned olive trees near Burin town south of the city, eyewitnesses affirmed.

In a similar attack, Israeli vandals stoned the Palestinian vehicles passing near al-Laban village located between Nablus and Ramallah.

The Palestinians were forced to drive in the subsidiary roads after Israeli forces closed all main roads in the area following the shooting operation.

Nearly 200 Palestinian vehicles were damaged during the stone-throwing attacks, Palestinian officials reported.

Israeli settlers have recently escalated attacks, under Israeli forces’ protection, against Palestinians and their properties on daily basis, causing a state of anger among Palestinians living near Israeli settlement outposts.
