Syria's Grand Mufti, Sheikh Ahmad Badr el-Din Hassoun, on Monday said that the conspiracy targets Syria's culture, adding that adherence to national unity and preserving stability is everyone's responsibility.
During a meeting with representatives of several economic, social and religious bodies, Hassoun said the plot aims at crumbling and controlling the Arab region.
Hassoun indicated that his visit to the governorate is within the framework of supporting a human and social program.
"The program is a charity fund launched by the governorate of Hama, 209 km from Damascus, to help families of martyrs and damaged people in the latest events", he added.
For his part, Hama Governor, Ahmad Abdul-Aziz, said the fund aims at providing help for the martyrs' families and the needy families.
Later, many representatives donated sums of money to support the fund.
