Imam Khamenei: Youth’s willpower only way for aborting enemy’s plots

Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei described “firm resolve” and “ceaseless endeavor” of all Iranian youth and university students as the sole ways to thwart enemy plots.

The following is the full text of the message issued on January 22, 2016 by Ayatollah Khamenei, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, to the participants of the 50th annual meeting of the Union of the Islamic Students Associations in Europe. The message was read out by Hujjat-ul Islam wal-Muslemin Jawad Ejeyi - the Leader's representative in charge of academic affairs in Europe - in Milan, Italy.

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Dear Youth,

You have now reached the 50th year of your union, an auspicious union that links Islamic guidance, enthusiasm, and the freshness of faith with youthful and student characteristics and whose product can be knowledgeable, wise, pious and insightful individuals.

You should try to harmonize and coordinate yourselves and your union with these lofty and felicitous goals as much as you can.

Your country and nation needs such individuals in order to tread its long path. Your firm willpower and your continuous efforts and those of all Iranian youth and students – wherever they are – are the only way for aborting the plots – of all sorts and with different instruments - that the enemy front has devised in the face of dignified Islamic Iran.

You should keep your hopeful hearts and your worldly and otherworldly power prepared and ready and you should move forward with reliance on God, the Omniscient and the Wise.

May God be your companion and your protector.

Sayyid Ali Khamenei
