US Creates, Supports Terrorist Groups: Iranian Judiciary Chief

Iran's Judiciary Chief Ayatollah Sadeq Amoli Larijani blasted Washington for creating and supporting the terrorist groups, including the ISIL to foment insecurity in the region.

Iran's Judiciary Chief Ayatollah Sadeq Amoli Larijani blasted Washington for creating and supporting the terrorist groups, including the ISIL to foment insecurity in the region.

"The terrorist groups like the ISIL are directly and indirectly created and supported by the US," Amoli Larijani said, addressing high-ranking Judiciary officials in Tehran on Monday.

He also said that the bonds between the hegemonic powers and the reactionary governments which don’t know anything about democracy have created the extremist streams.

"The driving force behind the Takfiri and terrorist groups is the Wahhabi extremist streams which have been created and nurtured by the hegemonic powers," Amoli Larijani said.

In relevant remarks last month, Syrian President Bashar al-Assad noted that terror groups, including Al-Qaeda and ISIL, have been able to find fertile soil in Iraq as a result of US interventionism, with Saudi oil money and their poisonous Wahhabi ideology nurturing the groups and helping them grow.
