French scholar Yahya (Christian) Bonnaud underlined that the principle of unity comes with wisdom and awareness.
He made the remark in a seminar on unity held at Tehran’s Milad Tower on Friday.
Professor Bonnaud said unity means submitting to the will of God and obeying Divine commandments in all affairs.
He underlined that in monotheistic religions, wisdom and awareness are the criteria of unity, adding that the higher the awareness, the stronger unity will be.
Elsewhere in his remarks, Professor Bonnaud stressed that as long as wisdom, conscience and religion accompany human beings, they will always remain on the straight path.
