Speaking in this meeting, Ayatollah Dr Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi emphasised the government's efforts to have a close relationship with clerics and intellectuals of the seminary and university, saying, "The government is determined to take advantage of the sympathetic views of all segments, especially the clergy, to advance the country’s affairs”.
The President emphasised, "The government, in addition to confronting coronavirus and trying to solve people's livelihood problems, is seriously pursuing the promotion of the cultural and religious values of the society”.
Dr Raisi added, "The clergy have always been trusted and the people still trust this current to solve their problems, and we must use this trust to address the concerns of the people in various economic and cultural sectors".
The President said, "According to the declaration of the Second Step of the Revolution, we are determined to move in the direction of creating change and accelerating the progress of the country".
Ayatollah Raisi added, "Despite all the problems, I see a very promising future and we are determined to create suitable conditions in the living conditions of the people".
In this meeting, Ayatollah Movahedi Kermani and a group of members of the Combatant Clergy Association praised the revolutionary and popular spirit of Ayatollah Raisi in addressing the problems of the people and managing the affairs of the country, and emphasised their support for the government”.
