AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): More than 45,000 Muslim worshipers attended the Friday prayer at the Aqsa Mosque in Occupied al-Quds (Jerusalem) despite the Israeli occupation’s restrictions that blocked the entry of hundreds of Palestinian worshipers.

Worshipers had been arriving in Occupied al-Quds since the early dawn hours while Israeli occupation police installed barriers and banned entry of hundreds of Palestinian worshipers into the holy Islamic site, local sources reported.

They added that only al-Quds residence and Muslims of 1948 Occupied Palestine were allowed access into the holy site in addition to a limited number of West Bankers and Gazans with special permits.

Meanwhile, Sheikh Mohammed Sarandah, the Aqsa preacher, hailed all those who managed to arrive at the Aqsa Mosque, affirming that the Aqsa is part of the Islamic creed and should be defended at all cost.
