Israeli police to close areas of al-Quds to secure massive marches by Jewish settlers

The Israeli occupation police have announced their intention to close a number of streets and areas in the Old City of al-Quds (Jerusalem), including Bab al-Amud and Bab al-Wad, next Sunday to secure massive marches to be staged by Jewish settlers.

AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA):  The Israeli occupation police have announced their intention to close a number of streets and areas in the Old City of al-Quds (Jerusalem), including Bab al-Amud and Bab al-Wad, next Sunday to secure massive marches to be staged by Jewish settlers.

According to the Hebrew radio, the Israeli police specified Bab al-Amud and Bab al-Wad as areas for the annual massive flag rally which Jewish settlers intend to organize on May 10.

In recent weeks, extremist Jewish groups have incited their followers to participate in mass break-ins at the Aqsa Mosque next Monday on the occasion of what they called “Reunification of Jerusalem” (the occupation of east al-Quds).
