AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) arrested, late Wednesday, 50 Palestinian workers after breaking into Salfit villages. All the detainees were taken to Ariel illegal settlement.

Head of Haris village council, Omar Samara, affirmed that IOF troops violently stormed Haris, Deir Istiya and Qira villages and arrested 50 workers after breaking into their family homes.

The detainees, aged between 20 and 40, are all working within the Green Line.

Some workers were detained at military checkpoints while on their way to their workplaces, Samara pointed out.

Three workers were later released, while 47 are still held.

Well-informed sources suggested that they were arrested over their demand for their labor rights.
