Israeli army attacks Palestinian fishermen, farmers in Gaza

The Israeli occupation army on Saturday attacked Palestinian fishermen and farmers in the west and east of the besieged Gaza Strip.

AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): The Israeli occupation army on Saturday attacked Palestinian fishermen and farmers in the west and east of the besieged Gaza Strip.

According to local sources, Israeli gunboats opened machinegun fire at several fishing boats and tried to swamp and sink others using water cannons during their presence off the shores of Gaza City.

There was no information if anyone was hurt or any boat sustained damage in those attacks.

Meanwhile, Israeli soldiers opened machinegun fire at a group of farmers in the east of Khan Yunis, south of Gaza.

Local sources said that the gunfire attack caused panic among the farmers and forced them to leave their swaths of land.
