AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Israeli gunboats attacked Palestinian fishing boats off the northern shores of the Gaza Strip on Saturday.
The Israeli navy boats opened fire at Palestinian fishermen as they were sailing off the shores of Al Waha and Sudaniyah to the north of the Gaza Strip, according to the Palestinian Information Center correspondent.
He added that the Israeli gunboats chased and opened water cannons at Palestinian fishermen’s boats, which were four miles away from the shore, forcing them to return ashore.
The Israeli navy harasses Palestinian fishermen in the Gaza Strip on daily basis and sometimes injure or even kill them, or steals their equipment and boats, according to human rights sources.
