On the 74th anniversary of the establishment of the infamous Zionist regime, the usurper regime which commits new crimes every day, shocked the free world and the freedom-seekers of the world by killing a Christian journalist.

Although this vicious regime has assassinated many journalists, artists, and even scientists inside and outside the borders of Palestine, the regime, by killing a woman journalist, while wearing the press uniform, violated all human norms and international law.

Hence, in honor of the late Shireen Abu Akleh, the innocent journalist, and in condemnation of the racist regime in Israel, the Permanent Secretariat of the International Quds Day Cartoon Festival decided to add another topic to the 3rd festival.

“Shireen Abu Akleh, the daughter of Palestine” is the topic that the secretariat adds to the previous two topics of the competition.

Therefore, the participating cartoonists can submit their works to the Third Quds Day Cartoon Festival on the following three topics:

*1.* The betrayal of some Arab leaders in the normalization of relations with Israel

*2.* Misery of the Nakba Day (The day of the establishment of the Israeli regime and the displacement of the Palestinian people)

*3.* Shireen Abu Akleh, the daughter of Palestine

Also, artists who have already submitted their works to the festival secretariat can submit a maximum of 3 more works on the new topic.
