Famous Shiite scholar, prominent Quranic figure in Pakistan passes away

Sayyed Ali Abed Naqavi, winner of the Presidential Award and Quranic figure of Pakistan, famous Shiite scholar and former professor of teaching the Holy Quran at Rawalpindi cultural center, passed away.

AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Sayyed Ali Abed Naqavi, winner of the Presidential Award and Quranic figure of Pakistan, famous Shiite scholar and former professor of teaching the Holy Quran at Rawalpindi cultural center, passed away.

He passed away after a long illness. He was active in the field of Quran in the Muslim community of Pakistan, especially in the Shiite and Sunni community (Brillou).

The late Seyyed Ali Abed Naqavi made great efforts to build the World Palace of the Holy Quran in Islamabad, and as a result of these efforts, the construction of the Palace of the Holy Quran in Islamabad began.

Throughout his life, he made valuable efforts for the spread of Quranic sciences, including; reading and reciting the Holy Quran.

He was an approximate figure and every year organized a gathering called "Quran and Ahlulbayt (a.s.)" with the presence of scientific, cultural, political figures and prominent readers of the country in collaboration with the Al-Sadiq (AS) Foundation in Islamabad.
