AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Extremist Jewish settlers cut down dozens of olive trees in Walaja village, northwest of Bethlehem, on Sunday.
Ibrahim Awadallah, an activist, said that the village resident Fawzi Khalifa was surprised when he entered his land and saw that 70 olive trees were cut down with a saw.
The trees are over ten years old and are located in the Aruq Zunaid area, south of the village, he added.
He said that the village has been under attack by the Israeli occupation forces and settlers for a while, adding that the attacks include the demolition of houses and stop work orders against new constructions in addition to bulldozing lands and uprooting trees.
