Extremist Jewish settlers attacked Palestinian shepherds in Kisan village east of the West Bank city of Bethlehem on Tuesday.

AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Extremist Jewish settlers attacked Palestinian shepherds in Kisan village east of the West Bank city of Bethlehem on Tuesday.

According to Ahmad Ghazal, member of Kisan village council, Jewish settlers hurled stones at Palestinian shepherds while they were grazing their sheep near Ibi Hanahel settlement established on the Palestinian citizens’ lands.

Ghazal said that the settlers tried to steal the sheep belonging to Palestinian citizens which constitute their only source of livelihood.

He added that the increasing settlers’ attacks aim at forcing Palestinians to leave their lands as part of settlement expansion plans.

In a related development, Jewish settlers on Monday razed two dunums of the Palestinian-owned lands in order to expand a settlement near the village of Kisan.

In another incident, the Israeli occupation authority delivered stop-work notices against three houses in the village of Al-Deirat south of the West Bank city of al-Khalil.
