Ayatollah Dorri Najafabadi marks victory of Palestinian people, resistance groups

Deputy of the Supreme Council at Iran's Ahlul Bayt (AS) World Assembly has issued a message to mark the victory of Palestinian people against Israeli aggression on the besieged Gaza Strip.

Ayatollah Ghorbanali Dorri Najafabadi, senior Iranian cleric has issued a message on Monday to congratulate the Palestinian nation on its recent victory against Israeli regime and demanded the international community to take stance against crimes committed by Tel Aviv regime in the besieged Gaza Strip, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).

He hailed the Palestinian men and women for their unparalleled unity to defend their honor and land against the arrogant powers.

The cleric called the atrocities and crimes by Israeli regime as another test for the oppressed people in a part of Muslim world.

"Palestinian people and the resistance movements resolutely defended their positions and interests in the 11-day conflict" said the prayer leader of Arak in his message and called on the international community to take firm stance against Israeli regime crimes.

Ayatollah Dorri Najafabadi referred to the crimes committed by Israeli regime in the besieged Gaza Strip and the global protests held to denounce the massacre of Palestinian civilians in the US and Europe demanding their governments to move for ending the violence and attacks against Palestinian people.

Palestinian resistance movements have admitted a ceasefire proposal by Israeli regime after 11 days of conflict which left 253 civilians dead, nearly 2,000 people injured and thousands of Palestinians displaced.
