Al-Nujaba Spokesman: Occupation threatens Iraq’s social fabric

Al-Shammari called the continuation of the military presence of the United States in Iraq “the biggest current and future threat to his country” and warned that the occupation also threatens the social fabric of Iraq.

AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Al-Shammari called the continuation of the military presence of the United States in Iraq “the biggest current and future threat to his country” and warned that the occupation also threatens the social fabric of Iraq.

According to the Communication and Media Affairs Centre of al-‎Nujaba in Iran‎, Naser al-Shammari, the spokesman of the al-Nujaba Islamic Resistance Movement, issued a statement addressed to the American occupiers in which he emphasized, “It is the duty of the Iraqi people to identify and deal with the dangers and in their millions, demonstrators have called for an end to the criminal occupation and an end to the intervention of your spy centre that you call an embassy.”

Nasr al-Shammari, referring to the Americans’ disobedience to the will of the Iraqi people, added, “Today, you are encroaching on the territory and sky of Iraq by deliberately ignoring the parliament’s resolution on the withdrawal of your forces. It is as if Iraq is not a free country and a founding member of the United Nations.”

He called the continued military presence of the United States “the greatest current and future threat to Iraq” and warned, “This occupation also threatens the social fabric of Iraq because the United States’ embassy has spread corruption and destruction and has had a negative impact on our economy and politics.”

At the end of his statement to the Americans, the spokesman of al-Nujaba wrote, “As soon as you leave our country, it will be better for us.”
