AhlulBayt News Agency: The Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) has strongly condemned the US veto of a UN Security Council resolution, accusing Washington of blind bias toward Israel and supporting crimes against humanity in Gaza.
In a statement issued on Wednesday evening, Hamas declared that the US position serves as a green light for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to continue his brutal genocide against innocent civilians in Gaza.
The Movement criticized the US administration for blocking the will of the international community, noting that 14 out of 15 Security Council members voted in favor of the resolution.
Hamas emphasized that the Security Council’s failure to stop the genocide raises serious concerns about the role of international institutions and the effectiveness of international law.
The Movement called on the international community to urgently intervene, halt the moral and political collapse, and pressure for an end to the genocide.
