15 Iraqi security members killed during IEDs dismantling operations in Ramadi

Anbar Provincial Council announced on Saturday the killing of 15 members of the Iraqi army and police during the dismantling of improvised explosive devices and booby-trapped houses in Ramadi (110 km west of Baghdad).

Anbar Provincial Council member Farhan Mohammed said “The dismantling of explosive devices and booby-trapped houses in the city of Ramadi that started two months ago, resulted in the killing of 15 members of the army and police.”

Mohammed added, “Thousands of improvised explosive devices still exist in Ramadi, especially in the booby-trapped homes,” pointing out that, “ISIS planted dozens of improvised explosive devices in one place.”
