Iran's Ambassador: Intl. Quds Day opens a new horizon in Palestinian uprising

Iranˈs Ambassador in Baku Mohsen Pakaeen said on Wednesday that International Qods Day is manifestation of resistance and Islamic awareness in the struggle with the global arrogance.
(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Speaking to reporters, he said International Qods Day opened a new horizon in fight against the Zionist occupiers.

Founder of the Islamic Revolution late Imam Khomeini opened a new chapter in backing Intifada of Palestine by designating the last Friday of the holy month of Ramadan as International Qods Day, he said.

Six decades after invasion Palestinian lands by Zionist forces all are witnessing annihilation of the Zionists, thanks to the Islamic awakening, he said.

Defeats of Zionist forces in their fight with Lebanese Hizbullah in 2006 and 2008 and the regimeˈs set-back in the eight-day war with people in Gaza Strip along with emergence of Islamic awakening which led to regional revolutions in Tunisia and Egypt are sign of the annihilation of the Zionist regime, he said.

The Islamic Republic of Iran believes that the Palestinian nation like other free nations should be able to decide its fate and holding a referendum in the occupied lads is among their legitimate rights, he said.
