Saudi Arabia: Shia scholar slams division among Muslims

Member of the World Forum for proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought deprecated the division and gap among Islamic denominations.

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - The Shia scholars from Saudi Arabia and the member of the World Forum for proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought slammed the division among Shias and Sunnis in the Islamic World. Sheikh Hasan Saffar underscored the role of Unity and Proximity among Muslims and its momentous effect of this proximity in the Islamic World. ‘The real danger threatening Shias and Sunnis, is poverty, lagging behind, unemployment and the dearth of facilities in the Muslim countries,” he underlined. Member of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought also slammed the Anti-Shia conference which has been held recently in Saudi Arabia Capital, Riyaz. “The bottom line is that Shia people do not threaten Sunnis and vice a versa,” the Islamic scholar underscored. “Islamic denominations have a common enemy, which is the arrogance power such as United States and Israel,” the Islamic scholar underlined. Sheikh Saffar underlined that Muslims should be more cognizant than before and be united against their common enemies.
