Enrolling of more than 96 thousand Individuals in Itikaf Ceremony of the Razavi Holy Shrine

The Deputy of Sacred Premises and Pilgrims' Affairs of Astan Quds Razavi said, "96306 individuals enrolled for I'tikaf ceremony in 1393 in the Razavi holy shrine."

The Deputy of Sacred Premises and Pilgrims' Affairs of Astan Quds Razavi said, "96306 individuals enrolled for I'tikaf ceremony in 1393 in the Razavi holy shrine."

According to the reports issued from Astan Quds Razavi website, the Deputy of Sacred Premises and Pilgrims' Affairs of Astan Quds Razavi said to our correspondent, "enrollment of the applicants for I'tikaf ceremony in Grand Gowharshad Mosque of the Razavi holy shrine was started from Farvardin 7th and ended in Farvardin 25th and the accepted names were announced in Astan Quds Razavi website."

He remarked, "64430 women and 31876 men enrolled for this year's' I'tikaf i.e. 66/9 percent of the applicants are women and 33/1 applicants are men."

Pointing to high reception of this spiritual ceremony, the Deputy of Sacred Premises and Pilgrims' Affairs of Astan Quds Razavi said, "91702 Iranians enrolled to participate in this ceremony which are 95/2 percent of the applicants. Also 406 applicants from Afghanistan, 46 individuals from Iraq, 39 individuals from Pakistan, 11 individuals from Azerbaijan, 8 individuals from Saudi Arabia, 7 individuals from India, 6 individuals from Germany, 6 individuals from Turkey, 5 individuals from Britain, 3 individuals from Australia, 3 individuals from Syria, 2 individuals from Ireland, 2 individuals from South Africa, 2 individuals from Austria, and 2 individuals from Lebanon applied for this ceremony."

"Regarding the constructional activities in the courtyard of the Grand Gowharshad Mosque, the acceptance capacity has been considered 2100 persons", he said.

Pointing to holding the I'tikaf ceremony from 23th to 25th of Urdibehesht, Mumtaz reiterated, "the servants in the Razavi holy shrine try their best for maximum enjoyment of Mu'takifin from the spiritual blessings of this precious religious ceremony and all necessary arrangement have been prepared for a high quality, spiritual, secure and safe ceremony."

Reminding that during last seven years the ceremony of I'tikaf in the Grand Gowharshad Mosque was held by Astan Quds Razavi, the Deputy of Sacred Premises and Pilgrims' Affairs of Astan Quds Razavi said, "during these years 32 thousand persons were Mu'takif in grand Gowharshad mosque and different cultural and welfare services were provided for them."
