Erdogan: Fighting in Bahrain creates a new Karbala

The Turkish Prime Minister was reminded of Karbala when Saudi Arabian forces entered Bahrain. He warned Bahrain about what will happen next.

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Turkey’s Prime Minister, warned Bahrain about Saudi Arabia’s military entering their country during a meeting with parliamentary members of the ruling party.

He clearly stated that fighting between Muslims has always been instigated by outside forces and have always benefited outside forces. Erdogan said that he does not want to see anymore fighting between Muslims; he does not want to see another Karbala which will only further divide the Muslims.

Erdogan criticized Saudi Arabia for sending troops to Bahrain. He said: “Our stance is clear. We do not support oil wells; we support people, we support nations, we support democracy, we support peace, we support brotherhood. We scream out loud that a brother should not kill his brother.”
