(AhlulBayt News Agency) - The Yemeni Army and Popular Committees have prevented an offensive by UAE-alligned militias on the Yemeni Western Coast.
Photos published by the Yemeni Military Media portrays the aftermath of an intense ambush on UAE-alligned militia forces on the western coast, in the southern parts of Hodeidah Governorate.
The Yemeni military media on Sunday evening published scenes revealing Saudi-led coalition troops’ material and human losses and their prisoners caught by the Yemeni army during repelling a wide-scale infiltration in the west coast front.
The scenes show dead soldiers and prisoners from the coalition recruits, as well as a number of burned and destroyed military vehicles belonging to the coalition.
The militias, known officially as the “Forces for the liberation of the Western Coast”, is a UAE-alligned militia which split from the “Southern Resistance” militia in August last year. The militias have been boasting online about an alleged “offensive” to retake Hodeidah, but photos prove otherwise.
