Army repels fiercest attack on al-Jah area in west coast
The coastal area of Al-Jah, western Hodeidah province, witnessed at dawn on Sunday fierce clashes between the UAE-backed southern militants and Yemeni army and popular forces, military sources reported.
The sources said the confrontations are the fiercest between the two parties, with a wide-scale participation of Saudi-led aggression coalition warplanes, in an attempt to restore al-Jah area, which the army and popular forces seized last Friday.
The army forces repulsed the attack and fortified their locations in the area, the sources added, noting that the forces loyal to the UAE have not managed to make any progress towards the al-Jah junction.
Earlier the day, the missile force of the army and popular forces fired a ballistic missile on gatherings of UAE-backed southern troops in the west coast, which left heavy losses in their ranks and equipment.
