(AhlulBayt News Agency) - Syrian government troops killed Mohammad al-Mahamid, the maximum commander of the terrorist group Fallujah Horan Brigades, during a fight in the eastern province of Daraa, military sources reported.

Social activists on the ground said Al-Mahamid was considered a bloodthirsty terrorist who opposed any kind of reconciliation in the south of this Arab country between opposition forces and the Syrian government.

Precisely the leader of the Fallujah Horan Brigades opposed the handing over of the heavy weapons of the opposition to the Syrian army, for which recent negotiations for the achievement of peace in southern areas failed.

The death of the terrorist leader occurs when the army develops an intense military campaign in southern provinces like Daraa, to exterminate terror groups that occupy cities and towns and hold captive thousands of civilians.
