According to Al-Mayadeen News Agency, more than 5,000 residents of Al-Fou’aa and Kafraya left their villages today to travel on 75+ buses en route to government-controlled territory.
The residents of Al-Fou’aa and Kafraya were initially stopped from leaving their villages after Takfiri rebels from Faylaq Al-Sham fired several mortar shells at their transport vehicles last night.
Another batch of civilians are expected to leave Al-Fou’aa and Kafraya in the coming days, as the second phase of this agreement commences.
