Faisal Abdull Sattar made the remarks pointing to the recent reaction of the Secretary General of the Lebanese Hezbollah Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah to Riyadh meeting attended by US President Donald Trump and leaders of the Persian Gulf Cooperation Council (PGCC).
Abdul Sattar underscored that the disclosure of dispute between Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar has endorsed Nasrallah’s stance.
He said that Riyadh meeting was seeking to keep the spirit of Saudi-US axis’ supporters up, but the disclosure of contradiction between Saudi Arabia and Qatar leads to the failure of such efforts very soon.
The meeting was held in Riyadh last Sunday (May 21) in a way that some of its participants, including the Lebanese Foreign Minister Gebran Bassil, were not aware of the final statement’s details of the gathering.
Shortly after the publication of Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani’s remarks who disagreed to exert more pressure against the Islamic Republic of Iran, the move triggered a vast reaction.
Although, his remarks were denied later on, the criticism against Emir of Qatar was continued in the Saudi Arabia's affiliated mass media.
Meanwhile, President Hassan Rouhani’s telephone conversation with Emir of Qatar indicated that Doha is not satisfied to fan the flames of tensions with Tehran.
Touching upon the recent Nasrallah’s speech, the Lebanese analyst underscored that the first message of Hezbollah secretary general’s address was aimed at assuring and reviving the spirit of nations that unlike their flattering governments, have stood against the threats of the US and the Zionist regime.
The Lebanese analyst described the issue of Palestine as the second message of Nasrallah’s speech, underlying that excluding Palestine from the meeting was a serious attempt to eliminate the issue.
He added Nasrallah's speech indicated that the issue of Palestine is considered as a top priority for the Islamic Republic of Iran and Hezbollah.
Abdull Sattar stressed that the third message of Nasrallah speech was separating the Saudi Wahhabism from the Arab and Islamic Ummah and all religions, emphasizing the Saudi Wahhabism is the main culprit behind the entire destruction in Arab world.
