ISIS investigation officer in Hawija killed in Iraqi air strike

(AhlulBayt News Agency) - Iraqi war jets pounded the ISIS positions inside Hawija district in southern Kirkuk, leaving a senior commander of the group and four of his aides dead.

Intelligence sources inside Hawija reported on Wednesday that the air strikes against the headquarters of ISIS in the city resulted in the killing of the group’s investigation officer, known as Abu Omar al-Iraqi.

The war planes, depending on accurate intelligence, killed the investigation officer of the terrorist group along with four aides in a headquarter of the group in the center of the city.

The air raid led to a state of fear among the ISIS militants and the escape of a large number of them from their positions.

The ISIS terrorist group is on the brink of collapse in the city of Hawija after most its prominent leaders have been eliminated by the air strikes.
