(AhlulBayt News Agency) - A Russian newspaper, Pravda, claimed that Saudi Arabia is witnessing a critical period of its most serious in recent history, stressing that it is difficult to predict what will happen to the Kingdom in the near future.
The newspaper said in a report, the worsening instability in the oil-rich countries, especially Saudi Arabia, which the paper said it faces many challenges at the moment, stressing that the next few months may be the most exciting in the modern history of the Kingdom.
The newspaper claimed that many members of the extended royal family want to get rid of the young crown prince, asserting that the reason for this rise of Salman bin Salman to the peak of power and his almost absolute control of the economy and the Saudi army with the support of his father, King Salman, according to the Russian newspaper.
As the newspaper claimed, “the Yemeni war and the intensification of tension in the eastern region of the country, are the most important factors that contribute to the aggravation of the risks facing the Kingdom.”

“The terrorist ideology is deeply rooted in the minds of many young people in the kingdom,” the Russian newspaper said. “It is therefore difficult for the Saudi crown prince to feel safe in the future,” the newspaper said.
As for the eastern region of Saudi Arabia, the Russian newspaper said that the region is in turmoil and poses a significant threat to the future of the kingdom, claiming that the population in that region of the country feel persecuted.
