(AhlulBayt News Agency) - Washington Institute and Wilson International Centre, analyzing al-Nujabas's doctrines and the group's commitment to the Supreme Leader, assessed the the presense of this Resistance group along the Israeli borders a frightening threat to Israel
According to the report of al-Nujaba Islamic Resistance Center for Relations and Media Affairs in Iran, through some separate reports, two American Institutes have recently warned on the range of the activities and the development of al-Nujaba.
Mission on the Israeli borders
On the Policy Analysis part of its website, the Washington Institute described al-Nujaba Islamic Resistance a group backed by Iran and also very dangerous.
This website wrote, “among the militia groups based in Syria, each one has a specific mission and they are active in some separate areas. al-Nujaba Islamic Resistance has a wider sphere of influence and, compared to other militia groups, it is stronger and conducts operations in the areas close to the American forces bases and along the Israeli border”.
The Washington Institute pointed out, “in March of 2017, al-Nujaba movement announced the formation of “its Golan Liberation Brigade”; an act frightened the Israeli officials and described as a serious threat by them”.
Doctrine of Commitment to the Supreme Leader
Wilson International Center, the other American institute, introducing al-Nujaba Islamic Resistance, wrote, “the doctrine and ideals announced by this Iraqi group include: defending their own land, the holy cities and holy shrines in Iraq and Syria, fighting against the Takfiri-Terrorist groups, protecting the Shiites residing and present in Iraq, Syria and other regions in the world”.
“This website described al-Nujaba as committed to the Supreme Leader, “Ayatollah Khamenei”.
Wilson International Centre website then introduced the group’s secretary general and wrote, “Since 2003, and after the US attacked Iraq, Akram al-Kaabi has actively participated in several militia groups”. “In 2008, the US Treasury Department, mentioning that al-Kaabi had planned and commanded several attacks against the American-led coalition forces, put him on its sanction list”.
The report recalls that al-Nujaba Hezbollah has 9000 fighters, two third of whom are in Iraq and one third are fighting in the neighboring country (Syria).
The said American Institute added, “3000 of the said forces actively participated in Aleppo liberation operations and played the main role in the liberation of this region. Moreover the group formed “Golan Liberation Brigade” in 2017”.
Finally, the website of Wilson International Center pointed to the opening of al-Nujaba’s first academy in Iraq in 2018, a center that reportedly provides ideological, social and cultural training.
It is noteworthy that simultaneously with the increase of pressures on Iran and the Resistance Axis, the decision-making centers in west have embarked on a wide propaganda against the Resistance groups including al-Nujaba Movement.
It seems that the hostile front is much more sensitive about this Iraqi group than other ones; a fact that can be associated to al-Nujaba’s deep cooperation with Islamic Republic of Iran, the group’s quick development and its wide-range activities.
