(AhlulBayt News Agency) - President Rouhani sent a message of condolence to the people of flood-ravaged provinces of West Azerbaijan, East Azerbaijan, and Ardebil and assured them that the government will stand by them until everything is finally organised and damages are repaired.
President's message is as follows:
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
The devastating disaster of flood and landslide in East Azerbaijan, West Azerbaijan and Ardebil that claimed lives, missing people and injured a number of our dear fellow citizens caused great grief and sorrow for the whole Iranian nation and the officials.
The esteemed governor generals of the flood-hit provinces and also the esteemed Minister of Energy, who has visited the provinces with the respective deputy ministers on my behalf to monitor and supervise the relief process, have been at the scene to help people from the first hours of the terrible disaster along with other organs and institutions and the armed forces.
I once again call on all relief organs and institutions to mobilise whatever facilities they have without a pause to boost helping those hit and the injured, addressing and organising the affairs as soon as possible. In doing so and following the report received from the respective authorities, the needed and prompt orders have been given to the Ministers of Interior, Health and Medical Education, Roads and Urban Development, and Energy, as well as the Red Crescent Society and other respective organs.
I deem it necessary to express my condolences and sympathise with the noble people of flood-ravaged provinces, especially with the respected families of those lost their lives and those injured, assuring that the government will stand by them until everything is finally organised and damages are repaired.
